If you have important documents/information on your computer like excel files, or banking information we suggest having some kind of external backup. This can be anything from a 4GB Flash Drive, to a tape drive, what is important is that computer hard-drives can fail, but having a backup of your data outside of your computer can save you from loosing any personal/important information.
To help use evaluate your computer problems its best to have a detailed description of the problem. Faxing the error message to our office as well as having the error written down as they appear on your screen helps us to analyze what problem(s) are occuring.
Computers are like cars, in that the first few signs of a strange new noise (i.e. a scraping or buzzing sounds) thats followed by slow performance or crashing is a sign that your computer is need of repair. Putting off problems can lead to lost work or worse data loss.
